ANALYSIS
Based on the actions you took in the activities above, reflect deeply and answer the
questions below.

1. Do you think there are advantages of doing a school-based evaluation of a


curriculum? Why?

Certainly, there are benefits to doing a school-based review since it corrects errors and
ensures that educational standards are implemented fairly and evenly.

2. We often see in school brochures the word ACCREDITED attached to the


name. What benefits will the school derive if its curricular programs are
accredited?

Accreditation is a mechanism for monitoring, assessing, and evaluating the educational


quality of pupils. Moreover, the accreditation process allows a school to assess the program's
strengths and weaknesses in order to ensure its long-term viability and progress.

3. Why is there a need to pilot test, monitor and evaluate curricular programs?

Pilot testing is a method of determining whether or not a program will be productive and
produce high-quality outcomes if implemented.
