GOOGLE SLIDES

The process of collaboration, what happend and what were the steps?

Google Slides or formerly known as Google Presentations is an online presentation app

that lets you create and format presentations and work with other people. Google Slides
offers the benefit of cloud storage, which means that users' documents are saved
automatically, and may be retrieved even if their hard drive or SSD fails. For me, use google
slides very useful and interesting because if there is a homework in group, all participants in
the group can help to make slides for presentation. Especially in this pandemic situation,
because we cant meet each other but with use google slides, all of us still can participate in
making assignment too.

For ICT assignment last week, my friends in the group discussed about the topic first, and
then we discussed about each other roles in make this assignment. Next we chose sub topics
and searched it in some sources, and we put the sub topics into google slides. And the last
steps, we edited our part in google slides so the slides look neater. I thought, the process
didn’t really hard because our teamwork was really good so we can pass the assignment with
ease.
What were your roles in the collaboration? And what were youi contributions in the
project?

My role was content manager and editor, i set my slides and edited too. I also did some
research for my part and for the conclusion.

What’s problem did you have during the process? How did youi deal with it?

I think, not much problem that i find. But i have a problem with my laptop, i dont know
why because it always has slow response if i open google slides and can be error in
sometimes. So i should be more patient to make this assignment even i get stressed too. This
is difficult for me, because i can’t finish the assignment quickly but fortunnaly google slides
are saved automatically so i shouldn’t repeat it again and again. I think the reason why my
laptop has slow response because the laptop is old, i have it when i still in elementary school.
And one more problem is the features in google slides less than power point like font, special
effects and others, but i still like google slides even i prefer using power point.

What did you learn? What do you expect? And how was your feeling about the
collaboration?

I learn so much with use google slides because google slides is easy to share, easy to do
collaboration with friends, and google slides is saved automatically our documents even
google slides have less features than powerpoint. I hope, i can learn more about google slides
because Google Slides is a serious contender when it comes to presentation software. If i
choose Google Slides as my presentation tool, there are some of the benefits i’ll enjoy. About
my feelings, i’m very happy to know google slides so for next homework i can use google
slides with groups later because with Google Slides, teamwork isn't a problem. Just share
your presentation with anyone who has Internet access, no matter what type of computer
system they use.
