Documents or Drawings Designation Observations / Notes / Comments

Structural drawings: 1. Some of the beams are not supported along their central axis, such as beam P12 at axes L-6

 FONDATIONS in the typical floor slab. The eccentricity causes torsional moments, which are advisable to be
addressed by a perpendicular beam to the eccentric support.
 PLANCHER HAUT SS2
 PLANCHER HAUT SS1
Regarding the ETABS model:
 PLANCHER HAUT RDC
 PLANCHER HAUT ET. COURANT 2. The drawings show a total of 9 floors, while the model contains 10 floors.
 PLANCHER HAUT ET.6 3. The considered ground type for the seismic design is A, which is not equivalent to the soil
profile type SC stated in the submitted geotechnical report.
 CAGE D’ESCALIER
4. The columns should be moment-released in order for the lateral force-resisting elements
 DETAILS
(shear walls) to take up all the seismic shear.
5. The response spectrum load cases SPECX and SPECY contain vertical acceleration U3 with a
horizontal response spectrum function assigned to it rather than a vertical function.
In addition, no vertical seismic load effects were taken with the non-automatic combinations.
6. The total modal mass participating ratios should be at least 90% in both the X and Y directions.
7. The soil pressure load on the retaining wall sections should be positive when the Local Axis 3
of the shell element points into the basement and negative in the opposite case.
8. The stiffness modifiers should be reduced to account for the cracking effects.
