The diagram gives information about the collection of rain water and the processing of water

treatment for drinking water in an Australian town.

In general, there are essentially four stages in the water treatment recycling process,
beginning with the collection of rain water, and ending with clean water that can be drunk in
each Australian house.

In the initial stage, all rain water is collected through the drain system which is connected
with hidden pipes under the ground. The water filtration system, which receives water flows
from the pipe system, has the function of filtering some unhealthy substances in the rain
water. The water then flows into the storage which is in a big container. After being stored,
the water moves into the water treatment tank that is connected by a long tube. The water
filtration is filtered for the second time by using chemicals at the top. Finally, after going
through four stages, the filtered water is distributed to each house by tubes under the
ground.
