Role: Head of Projects

Location: France

My client is a market leading Solar & Wind developer with a 10GW project pipeline across Europe.
For the past 10 years they have developed & executed over 3GW of Wind & Solar projects.

Due the continued growth, they are now looking to hire and experienced Head of Projects to
support the business as they continue to grow their international development activity.

 Communicate with stakeholders and partners to work on localization.


 Define and conduct on day-to-day basis the organization of project execution
 Participate and interact in strategic meetings, presenting and discuss with the business any
relevant Project related topics.
 Work with the Management Team and shareholders to complete the delivery of the project.
 Manage the coordination with the related project managers and leads on a day-to-day basis.
 Support project managers in contract-related matters, progress tracking on development
(including permitting, localization, and government affairs) and engineering design in the
Define phase (including FEED, design phase, fabrication, and installation), project verification
and approval, interface managements, permit applications, reporting, and project delivery
schedule.

Experience:
 Engineering degree from an accredited university in a relevant subject (Civil, Structural,
Mechanical, etc)
 Extensive relevant industry experience
 Professional Engineer, with experience managing design and or engineering teams
 Experience in Onshore Wind, Solar or other large engineering infrastructure
 Proven experience in leading contract & claim negotiations, project execution through to
completion and contract management of large infrastructure investment projects (ideally
offshore wind)
 Familiar with industry codes and standards applicable to wind or solar projects
 Excellent logical thinker, communicator, organiser, project lead and team player
 Demonstrable experience of working effectively in an international business
