Congratulations! We are thrilled to inform you that Jimma University has been approved to join
Better Evidence for Training and receive 5-year institution-wide access to UpToDate at no cost.
You are now officially part of our movement for Better Evidence! UpToDate institutional access
will be turned on for:

● Jimma University School of Medicine

● Jimma University Medical Center

All students, faculty, residents and clinicians will be able to register for individual UpToDate
accounts through internet access at any of these sites. With registration, they will receive free
UpToDate-Anywhere accounts. This will enable them to use UpToDate on or offline from
anywhere.

Our team is here to support use of the tool at the university now and into the future. The next
step in the process is entering an institutional agreement with UpToDate. You will receive
a contract from them in the next couple of weeks. Please sign and return the contract
within two (2) weeks of receiving it from UpToDate. Please also review the full
Implementation Checklist and FAQ documents, attached, which delineate each step of the
process moving forward. Our team will be in touch with more communication resources and
training support following the execution of the agreement.
