Personal statement
I am a hardworking 17 year old currently in my second year of A Levels and seeking
a degree apprenticeship in financial services at J.P Morgan.

Education
I am in year 13 at Bishop Walsh Catholic Secondary School studying Mathematics,
Economics and Further Maths. I achieved a Grade A in my EPQ.
In my GCSE examinations, which I took in May-June 2022, I achieved the grades
below:

Biology: 6 Geography: 6
Chemistry: 6 Culinary Arts: 5

Skills

● Leadership experience - I let my group, taking the main role in planning and
executing a DofE expedition.
● Mathematic skills - I have a Strong aptitude for statistics and difficult
calculations, and achieved an 8 in GCSE Maths. As part of Enrichment I help
out year 7&8 with their Mathematics.
● Interpersonal skills - I have an ability to communicate my ideas with others,
allowing me to work well in group settings and interact with all types of people.

Experiences/interests

Through school I have gained my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award. I frequently


complete volunteering work for the Sutton Coldfield Adventure Unit and also work as
a steward for Sutton Coldfield Park runs. I enjoy mountain biking, going to the gym to
keep fit, attending football matches and going out with my friends.

I have worked at the Bishop Vesey (Weatherspoon’s) as part of the floor staff for
over six months where my duties include cleaning and serving. I have gained many
skills from working there including time management and communicating with many
different people across different age groups.

I have also had a two week work experience at an inner city schools where I helped
teach classes of many different years working alongside the teacher.
