The Future Simple Tense – Thì tương lai đơn

1. Form
I will help her take care of her children
Khẳng định S will + V1
tomorrow morning.

Phủ định S will not / won’t + V1 I won’t tell her the truth.

Nghi vấn Will S V1 Will you come here tomorrow?

2. Cách dùng
- Diễn tả một quyết định tại thời điểm nói
We will see what we can do to help you.
- Diễn tả dự đoán không có căn cứ
I think she will come to the meeting on time.
3. Dấu hiệu nhận biết
in + thời gian: trong … nữa (in 2 minutes: trong 2 phút nữa)
tomorrow: ngày mai
next day: ngày hôm tới
next week/month/year: tuần/tháng/năm tới
Các từ chỉ quan điểm:
think/believe/suppose/…: nghĩ/tin/cho là
perhaps/probably: có lẽ

4. be going to
Form:

Khẳng định S be going to + V1 I am going to travel ….

Phủ định S be + not going to + V1 I am not going to travel ….

Nghi vấn Be S be going to + V1 Am I going to travel …?

Cách dùng:
 - Diễn tả dự định trong tương lai
I’m going to become an explorer when I grow up.
- Diễn tả dự đoán (thường có căn cứ)
I can see those dark clouds, I think it’s going to rain.

1. Form
I will be having breakfast at 7 a.m
Khẳng định S will be + Ving
tomorrow.

Jack won’t be staying at home at this

Phủ định S will not / won’t + be + Ving
time tomorrow.

Will you be playing football at 8

Nghi vấn Will S be + Ving
o’clock tonight?

2. Cách dùng
- Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc sẽ đang diễn ra ở một thời điểm cụ thể hay một
khoảng thời gian trong tương lai.
I will be eating dinner at 8 p.m tomorrow.
- Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc đang xảy ra trong tương lai thì có một hành động, sự
việc khác xen vào.
I will be waiting for you when the party ends.
When her friends come tomorrow, Hannah will be watching TV.
- Diễn tả những hành động song song với nhau nhằm mô tả một không khí, khung
cảnh tại một thời điểm cụ thể trong tương lai
When I arrive at the party, everybody is going to be celebrating. Some will be dancing.
Others are going to be talking.

3. Dấu hiệu nhận biết

- At this/ that + time/ moment + khoảng thời gian trong tương lai (at this moment next year,…)
At + thời điểm xác định trong tương lai (at 5 p.m tomorrow)
…when + mệnh đề chia thì hiện tại đơn (when you come, …)
Các từ: In the future, next year, next week, next time, soon.
