Performance Task 1: You can do it!

Directions: Perform each activity at a time and answer the given questions below.

Stretching from head to feet.

2 minutes jogging in place
20 jumping jacks
10 push ups with 3 repetitions
10 curl-ups

Answer the following questions after performing the activities.

1. How did you feel while performing the activities?
- As I completed the tasks, I felt energized. My muscles felt more relaxed after stretching, and
my heart rate increased during the jogging and jumping jacks. My strength and endurance
were put to challenge by the curl-ups and push-ups.
2. How was your breathing?
- Throughout the exercises, my breathing was steady and controlled. During the push-ups and
curl-ups, it got a little harder, but I concentrated on breathing steadily to support what I was
doing.
3. How much did you sweat?
- During the activities, I started to sweat a little. It wasn't much, but it was enough to show
that my heart rate was higher and that my body was working itself.
4. Do you feel pain in your muscle while doing the exercises? Why do you think so?
- Although the exercises didn't cause me much pain, I did experience some muscle
exhaustion, particularly during the push-ups and curl-ups. This is normal because I was
pushing my muscles, but it didn't hurt. If there was any pain, it was probably from the
exertion using out the muscles.

Reflection:
1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how fit do you see yourself? Why?
- If I were to rate my level of fitness, I would give myself a 8. I exercise daily and consider
myself to be pretty strong and endurance. But there's always space for improvement,
particularly when it comes to cardiovascular fitness and flexibility.
2. When is the most probable time for you to engage in your own personal workout?
- The best time for me to engage in my personal workout is in the morning, before I start my
day. I find that working out first thing in the morning gives me energy and focus and sets my
mood well for the rest of the day.
3. Is there any reason why you do not engage in physical activity?
- I try to prioritize physical activity in my daily routine, but sometimes I struggle to find the
time due to school or other obligations. Also, it can be challenging for me to get the
motivation to exercise if I'm feeling really exhausted or bored.
