Content #1: Changing Preference and Medium of Consumption

i) How did you come across OTT platforms? What made you subscribe to the platform?

ii) How often do you find yourself binge watching TV series or movies on these streaming
platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime? What do you like about these platforms?

iii) Can you share when was the last time you chose to watch a TV show or movie on a
streaming service instead of TV? What factors influenced your decision?
iv) How has your television viewing behavior changed since the rise of OTT platforms? Do you
find yourself watching traditional TV less often?

v) Do you like binge watching or do you prefer watching shows in a scheduled fashion?

vi) When was the last time you went to the theater to watch a movie? How was your experience?
Any inconvenience that you faced?

vii) When was the last time that you watched a movie on any OTT platform? How was your
experience?

viii) How do you think the availability of movies on OTT platforms has affected your
moviegoing patterns? Have you found yourself going to the cinema less frequently now that you
can stream movies at home?

ix) On what device do you generally consume OTT content - PC, Tablets or Mobile Phones?
What is the reason for choosing the device?

x) What would you generally prefer - Convenience of watching movies at home or experience of
watching movies at theater?

by these OTT Platforms, for instance Hotstar Specials? What is your review on it?
v) Some movies are now released directly on OTT platforms without a traditional theatrical
release. What are your views on this? How does this impact your decision to watch a movie?

Are there specific features or recommendations on OTT platforms that you find particularly

Television or more limited?

iv) If you are to recommend a new TV show or movie to a friend, would you be more likely to
suggest something from a streaming platform or traditional television? Why?

v) Excluding cost, is there any other feature offered by OTT platforms that you feel make syour
