1. Part of what we earn needs to be given back to God. I:

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORDwith your wealth, with the
firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to I:
overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
2 Corinthians 9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in
his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God I:
lovesa cheerful giver.
2. Those who are wealthy should share with others. I:
1 Timothy 6: 17 Command those who are rich in this present
world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is
so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us -=
with everything for our enjoyment.

3. Debts to government and others must be paid. I;;

Romans 13:6-8 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities
are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give
everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, I:
then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. Let no
debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one
another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. I;
Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is
servant to the lender.

4. Choices need to be made as to what has priority-God or money.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate
the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and
despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and
be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will
I leave you; never will I forsake you."

5. Ultimately, all belongs to God. It is only by his provision we have

anything.
1 Chronicles 29:11-12 Yours, 0 LORD, is the greatness and the
power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for
everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, 0 LORD, is the
kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come
from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength
and power to exalt and give strength to all.
Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is
he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his
covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he

adds no trouble to it.

1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present

world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is
so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us
with everything for our enjoyment.

6. Guard your heart in financial areas.

Proverbs 15:16 Better a little with the fear of the LORDthan
great wealth with turmoil.
1 Timothy 6:9-10 People who want to get rich fall into temptation
and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge
men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of
all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered
from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Matthew 6:19-21 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on
earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and I:
steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth
and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -=
