The BFP Ormoc, under the leadership of its chief, is once again taking the lead in organizing the
annual observance of Fire Prevention Month, themed "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa!"
This initiative is part of a nationwide campaign to raise awareness for a fire-safe nation.
As part of this observance, the BFP Ormoc will host the "Bida Ka sa Fire Square Road Show,"
aimed at educating children and teenagers on fire prevention and response. The event will
feature informative and interactive booths, along with activities such as CPR training,
Bandaging, Electrical Fire Safety, Radio Communication, Fire House Simulation, Knot Tying,
Rappelling, Fire Extinguisher Simulation, Rope and Ladder Games, and a showcase of
equipment from CDRRMO.
To make this event a success, the BFP Ormoc is seeking assistance in inviting up to 50
participants to join the activity on March 16, 2024, at 8 o'clock in the morning at Sto. Niño
College of Ormoc. Your support in spreading awareness for fire safety and prevention in our
community is highly appreciated.
