Shakes for Clean Cleanse, Gut and Refresh

Almond Milk
[Cleanse, Gut and Refresh]
Flavor with vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg, or raw cacao to make chocolate milk or just leave it
plain. It’s delicious whatever you do. You can also use the leftover pulp for nut burgers or in clean
cookies. . . feel free to experiment!
• 1 cup organic, raw almonds
• 3 cups fresh water
Directions: Soak the almonds in enough water to cover (with an inch or two above the almonds)
for 2-8 hours, to unlock the enzyme inhibitors (It’s really easy to let them soak overnight if you’re
using the milk in a morning shake). Strain, rinse well and add to a blender. Add 3 cups of fresh
water and blend for 45 seconds, until the almonds are broken down. Strain through a fine mesh
strainer (saving the pulp to use for other recipes). Store both pulp and milk in an airtight container
in the fridge for up to 4 days.

• 1/4 tsp stevia leaf powder, or 2-4 drops stevia liquid (to taste)
Directions: Blend well on high until the ice cubes are mostly broken up. The desired consistency is
that of those convenience store slushys, so be mindful not to over-blend.
Directions: Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth for 30-45 seconds.
Just Peachy
[Cleanse and Refresh Only]
What fruit is high in niacin, potassium, calcium, vitamin A and beta carotene, a great urinary
and digestive tonic, a kidney cleanser and an excellent source of fiber? Peaches! The sweetness
is balanced out with protein and healthy fat additions, making this a creamy and energizing
breakfast (or dinner) for cleansers or anyone who just wants a sweet treat. So pull out your
blender and enjoy!
• 1 cup frozen peaches
• 1/4 cup pecans
• 2 cups whole fat coconut milk
• 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (most health food stores have this in bulk, but you can also use a
mix of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice)
• 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
• optional: a packet of Cleanse shake, Refresh shake powder (or any Clean-approved protein
powder)
Directions: Blend until smooth and creamy. Top with a few sprinkles of toasted (or raw) coconut
for extra crunchy treat. Delicious.

Note: If any of the recipes below call for Clean Cleanse or Refresh shake powder, but you’re not
using our kit, it’s totally fine. Just make sure you’re getting protein in some form (nuts, seeds,
spirulina, or another protein powder). If you want extra fiber, you can use flax seed meal or chia
seeds. Or just load up on those dark leafy greens throughout your day, which is the absolute best
way to get your fiber!
Directions: Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy. I don’t mind if the macadamia
nuts don’t blend up entirely, the chewing action slows me down so I don’t drink this very filling
shake too fast! Making it super thick and creamy helps with that too. Enjoy as slowly as possible.
Note: This shake is very low glycemic. This keeps you energized and satiated for hours and our
bodies burn the fat and protein as the most efficient sources of fuel available! Blood sugar remains
stable so there’s no insulin spike and subsequent crash. The shake powder has stevia in it and the
mint chlorophyll is naturally sweet but you can always add stevia to the shake if you like.

Daily Fuel from Bonnie [Customer Support]
[Cleanse, Gut and Refresh]
• 12 ounces unsweetened coconut milk

• 1 tablespoon raw almond butter
• 4 fresh figs and/or mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) * use only berries for
Clean Gut program
• 1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
• optional: a packet of Chocolate Cleanse shake, Refresh shake powder (or any Clean-approved
protein powder)
• 1 teaspoon Clean Greens
• dash of cinnamon (to taste)
• Optional: 2 teaspoons peeled and minced ginger
Directions: Blend up until creamy. I also recommend sprinkling 1 teaspoon unsweetened coconut
flakes & cacao nibs on top.
6
• 1/4 cup of filtered water
• 4 ice cubes
• 1/4 avocado
• 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries - or fresh if in season
• 1/4 cup frozen mangoes or frozen pineapple
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 chopped fig
• fresh mint to taste
• 6 leaves of fresh baby spinach
• optional: a packet of Chocolate Cleanse shake, Refresh shake powder (or any Clean-approved
protein powder)
7
• 1 tablespoon flax oil
• 1 tablespoon maca powder (optional, but so energizing and delicious, it’s definitely
recommended!)
• 1 tablespoon spirulina AND/OR 1 scoop Clean Greens
• 1 cup almond milk
• a few drops of stevia to taste ( for desired sweetness, although you may not need it with the
berries)
Directions: Blend and enjoy! This is my staple. The more almond butter and berries (don’t be
afraid to switch it up with raspberries or cherries) the more like a PB&J “dessert” it tastes like.
