    Oscariz Elementary School in Isabela, Philippines held its annual intramurals event from October 13-14, 2023. The event was organized by the school principal, Mrs. Cresencia Corpuz and physical education coordinator Mrs. Jonarvel Esteban. Students competed in various sports like badminton, volleyball, basketball, running and chess divided into teams with different animal mascots. The Green Archer team emerged as the overall champion, followed by the Yellow Nuggets in first runner up and Orange Warrior in second runner up. The goal of the intramurals was to develop students' skills, sportsmanship, and help them realize their strengths and weaknesses.

    NARRATIVE REPORT ON INTAMURALS 2023

    Sports is one way not only to show the skills and talents of the
    pupils but also develop the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie
    among individuals.
    Another purpose of this activity is to enable students to realize
    their strength and weaknesses and be able to improve on each area.
    Finally, the purpose pf the said activity will help pupils derive
    from doing obnoxious things that might hinder them in achieving a
    bright future.
    That is why the OSCARIZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in
    collaboration with the Department of Education conducted its
    Intramurals activity last October 13-14,2023. The said activity is
    spearheaded by the School Principal, Mrs. Cresencia J. Corpuz,
    School PESS Coordinator, Mrs. Jonarvel V. Esteban, with the help of
    the OES teaching Staff.
    The first activity is the parade where the pupils with the faculty
    and staff. It is the followed by the general assembly of the athletes
    and officials and opening program led by our energetic principal, Mrs.
    Cresencia J. Corpuz. The said activity was formally opened by the
    School PESS Coordinator. The school not only conducted sports
    activities but also the search of MR and MISS INTRAMS 2023, in
    which each grade pupils showcase their best outfit in their
    SportsWear. It is true that not all students are adapt in the field of
    sports. Therefore, it is essential that we conduct differentiated
    activities to cater the skills and talents the students have.
    Different teams compete in series of events, Badminton,
    Volleyball, Basketball, Runs, Chess. Pupils and even the supportive
    parents cheer to their respective teams.
    In the end, the Green Archer triumphed as the champion of the
    Intramurals over all, followed by the Yellow Nuggets as the first
    runner up champs, while Orange Warrior as the second runner up
    champ.
    Overall, it was a good experience to take on the Intramurals,
    which almost all of the pupils whom attended are satisfied from
    cheering their respective teams or even participating to some of its
    sports games that the school has given to them.
