NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCOUTING MONTH, BSP-GSP 2023

Scouting is an effective co-curricular program in enhancing the leadership, physical,

mental, social and spiritual aspects of every scout. This impressive track record of the
programs, projects and activities of the scouting movement. Scouting is all about
building confidence and self-esteem, learning important life skills and leadership skills,
team building, outdoor adventure, education, and fun! Scouts learn how to make good
choices and to take responsibility for their actions so that they are prepared for their
adult life as independent persons.

For the first time in Ditopor Bugaran Elementary school; This year, Ma'am Noro took the
lead in one of the most awaited activities of the school, the scouting, BSP-GSP month,
which happened last November 23, 2024.

The day before our scouting, the teachers prepared for the decorations and activities for
tomorrow's event. On 23rd of November, everyone was excited for this awaited event.
It began by honoring the flag through the Flag Raising ceremony, followed by invocation
and the opening remarks.

We also prepared the scouts to have their presentation and at the same time, many
activities for the scouts as well. The first category of our games was tie knot, followed by
Arranging Arabic Alphabet, then pouring bottle, then lemon race, and lastly is finding
your family. On the afternoon, the second category of our games was finding slipper,
followed by progress, then egg race, then jerusalem, and lastly was paper dance.

The champions of every games will receive a reward provided by the Principal Ma'am
Noro. On the afternoon, it was only awarding ceremony, and picture taking. At the end
of the day, scouts enjoyed most especially the games we prepared for them; they
appreciated the beauty of hard work, they developed a sense of leadership and
camaraderie, and went out of their comfort zone, out from gadgets and technologies.
