Narrative Report

On the conduct of HOMEROOM GUIDANCE

During the implementation of DepEd Homeroom Guidance, the school also started
conducting the Homeroom Guidance as it plays an integral part of the Philippine educational
system, a pivotal role in nurturing the academic and personal growth of students. This
involves a structured and supportive approach where a designated teacher, known as a
homeroom adviser, serves as a mentor and guide to a specific group of students throughout
their academic journey. It also focuses on addressing not only the academic needs but also the
socio-emotional development of students, ensuring their well-rounded growth.

In line with this, Psychosocial support activities were conducted in order to assist
student’s needs. The psychosocial support activities are imperative in promoting, protecting,
and prioritizing the learners’ socio-emotional well-being as they transition back to in-person
classes. These activities were facilitated by classroom advisers or designated teachers.

Moreover, these activities create a strong connection towards the students and the
teachers since it tackles about the emotional aspect of an individual. Indeed, these activities
provide enormous help to the students’ well-being.

With the support of classroom advisers and school principal, the said activities were
successfully done.

The school headed by Sir Edgar A. Palagtiosa was thankful to the collaborative efforts
of all teachers for meeting the needs of the students.
