How do we form the plural of nouns?


Most nouns form their plural by adding -s or -es. Be mindful of the

RULE 6. The plurals of nouns ending in o—before by a vowel—are

formed by adding es.
Examples: hero — heroes tomato - tomatoes

RULE 7. Some nouns change its plural by changing its spelling:
