 Pupils are asked to identify the word and describe each.

Activity  Substances are presented by the teacher to the pupils.

 They are going to identify what dissolves the other substance and what substance is
being dissolved in the mixture.
Analysis  In the pictures you have seen, what substances are being dissolved?
 How about the substances that dissolve a substance?

 How about the substance being dissolved?
 Differentiate solute from a solvent.
 Give examples of solute and solvent found and used at home.
