B. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES
1. Presentation
Okay, our topic for today is all about Congruent Line Segment.
Did you know that this triangle can help you find the congruent line segment?
(No, teacher), Okay for further more explanation, Congruent line segment refer to a
figure that have equal measures. When two line segments are congruent, it means
they have the same length.
C. MODELING
As you can see, the line segment AB is congruent to the line segment AC because
they have same length or equal line that’s why it is called congruent line segment.
Any questions or clarifications? (None, teacher) Then we will proceed to our group
activity.
D. Guided Practice
In your group, kindly make a circle because I want all of you to cooperate with your
groupmates. I will call first the group 1, followed by 2 and last the group 3.

For your individual activity, I want you to get your paper and kindly draw a
figure that has congruent line segment. (Participating)
Are you done ? (Yes teacher), kindly collect the papers Edward, Yuan and
King.
E.1 GENERALIZATION
Based on our topic, congruent line segment is a figure that have an equal
length or having the same measures. Now give me an example of figure that has
congruent line segment? Can you draw it on the board? (participating) Very good.
F. CLOSURE/VALUING
