Job Title Internship (3 Months) – Real Estate Consultancy

Office Dubai, UAE
Working Hours Monday to Friday (except public holidays); 8am to 5pm UAE time; on 3 months contract

The Role

We are seeking for a highly motivated and creative professional who will be able to develop themselves further
in the role. The right candidate is expected to assist the operations of Strategic Consultancy team on day-to-day
basis, by supporting on the research and related tasks for various projects and studies being undertaken at the
same time. This role will be focused on real estate industry, and the consultancy vertical that aims to deliver high
quality business and project management reports to our stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist on our research tasks – by undertaking primary and secondary research to analyse real estate
market for relevant components
• Create a supply mapping data sheets for relevant project attributes and components – with support of a
line manager and team lead
• Help the team in building a demand model, or supply – demand data sets. This task could involve running
and analysing quantitative datasets on our sample models; and extracting more information from
secondary sources to make the model robust.
• Update and improvise on our standard project report templates – based on instructions and guidance
received from the line manager and team lead.
• Support the team by writing brief sections on macro-economic impact on the real estate industry, market
observations, price movements, demand attributes, and development recommendations.
• Assist the team on site visits (within UAE) and make commentary on site observations, surrounding real
estate projects, connectivity, etc.
• Study and compare – competing developments in the market. Assist in preparing trend reports, historical
performance of certain real estate components, and support the formulation of market outlook section.
• Actively contribute to broader team responsibilities within the regional business
• Develop an understanding of the relevant Savills standards
• Contribute to wider projects as required – with assistance from line manager and team lead
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Candidates with prior work experience will be preferred, however, fresh graduates can also apply.
• Capable of working with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
• Keen interest in global real estate market dynamics, and aspiration of making a career in the consultancy
vertical of this industry
• Good understanding of basic economic factors – such as supply & demand, market dynamics, etc.
• Interpersonal skills – to be able to communicate and relay thoughts well with colleagues, clients, and
stakeholders at various levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proactive and willing to learn and a team player
