b) Imagine that you are a Nurse In Charge at a local clinic and the Ministry of Health has asked you to go
to a Covid 19 Awareness Compaign in schools. Write a speech you will use to address learners about
Covid 19. Your speech should be between 80 and 120 words in length. Use the following points and any
other you may think of to write your speech .

- your name and job

- what is Covid 19

- signs and symptoms of Covid 19

- ways of preventing the spread of Covid 19

Read the following passage very carefully before you attempt any question.

Answer all the questions in full sentences. You are advised to write your sentences in good grammar and
punctuate them correctly.

Taka's surprise

"Taka! Taka! Come here!" Taka heard his mother's voice echoing across the fields. He was reading a
library book under a tree and was enjoying the story in the book. However, it sounded as if his mother
wanted something urgently, so he slowly got up and sauntered towards the house. Even from a distance
he could see that she was holding a letter. He hoped that it was not bad news about his sister, who lived
in Chipinge and had been very sick recently. As he got nearer he realized that it could not be that. His
mother was waving excitedly and both she and her neighbour, Mrs Sithole, were smiling. Taka
quickened his pace.

"We have won the raffle!" his mother cried as soon as he was within earshot. " Two tickets to
Botswana!" " Air tickets?" cried Taka. He remembered when they had bought the raffle tickets from a
secondary student six weeks before. The school was raising money to improve the science laboratory.
