Evolution of Communication
The evolution of communication tools has been a long and fascinating journey,
spanning from the earliest days of human history to the present day. The first
communication tools were likely simple gestures and vocalizations, used by early
humans to communicate with each other. Over time, these tools became more
sophisticated, with the development of language and writing.
First communication tool does exist in early civilization of humans was called
non-verbal communication. In which all individuals conveying information through
gestures and vocalizations. This communication commonly used by people who are
deaf in the present. In the present this is what we call sign language.
In this second communication tool, language will serve as medium of
communication. Verbal communication, is the act of conveying information and
expressing thoughts in a form of speech.
Then, the development of communication was invention of writing. Through
written communication people allowed to communicate with each other over distances
and to store information.
Lastly, electronic communication is the act of conveying information through
electronic means, such as email, text, messaging, and social media. The evolution of
communication has been a long and complex process, but it has accelerated rapidly in
recent years because of technology. Which has been considered as effective diversion
to make life easier, in short it has advantages to humans and at the same time it has
advantages because it decreases the life span of humans on Earth.
The future of communication is likely to be just as exciting as its past. As
technology continues to develop, we can expect to see new and innovative ways to
communicate with each other. These new technologies will continue to change the way
we live and work, and they will open up new possibilities for human communication.
