B. Procedure
1. Activity
- The teacher will group the students into six (6) groups and each group will
play “Loop a Word Puzzle”. Each member of the group will have worksheet
to answer and only 1 representative from the group will share their answer
in front.
2. Analysis
The teacher will ask question to students;
- What is prefix?
- What is suffix?
3. Abstraction
-The teacher will discuss the Prefix, suffix and how to use it in a sentence.
Prefix
A prefix is a group of letters that are placed in front of a base word. It usually
changes the meaning of base word.
Suffix
A suffix is a set of letters we added to the end of base word to change the
meaning.
Suffix Meaning Example
-less without careless
-ment an action or state measurement
-ous full of joyous
-ship position held membership
-sion/tion state transition
-ful as much as spoonful
-th state or quality strength
4. Application
-The teacher will group the students into six (6) groups and each group will
identify a base words that has prefix and suffix.
-Each group will arrange and paste five (5) example of prefix also five (5)
example of suffix.
III. Generalization
- The teacher will summerize the lesson.
IV. Evaluation

V. Assignment
- Give 5 words with prefix and suffix and use it in a sentence .
