a) Site Visit

At the diesel skid tank area, the secondary 31.03.2024
containment can be further improved by increasing
the edge height to avoid spillage as trace of oil was
observed on the ground.

It is recommended to remove the unwanted items 31.03.2024

in the emergency spill kit drum located at chemical
mixing area.

It is suggested to install emergency eyewash and 31.03.2024

shower facility at chemical mixing area and repair
the facility provided at the workshop.
The facility can be further improved by installing
push valve instead of normal turn valve.

It was informed that the empty container for Trithac 31.03.2024
were used to keep small volume amount of other
chemical. It is recommended to remove the existing
labelling, clean, and relabel with the chemical name
to be keep before reuse the empty container.

Traces of Diesel oil spillage was observed at diesel 31.03.2024

transferring tank. This can be further improved by
concreting the area with bund wall to avoid spillage
onto the ground with may lead to ground pollution.

It is observed that lot of empty plastic bottles were 31.03.2024

disposed as domestic waste at waste collection
centre. Suggested to implement LESS campaign at
BLD Kabang and GM Lassa Estate.
