Introduction

I. Background of the Study

In today's time, where people spend more time outside the home due to work or
attending school, doing laundry becomes increasingly time-consuming for them. People
are becoming more selective about their clothing and linen, especially for public
occasions. The popularity of stylish apparel has led to an increase in demand for
laundry services. That's why many laundry services provide assistance to make their
tasks easier and faster. Laundry services are particularly helpful for students and
employed individuals who lack time or access to a washing machine, dealing with the
direct exposure of clothes to sunlight in their residences, and even unfavorable weather
conditions that hinder the drying of clothes.

II. Objectives

The objective is to provide satisfaction to customers. To reach the satisfaction of


each consumer, the following objectives are targeted:

 To save all the linens that are damaged.


 To have an affordable prices for a high-end services.
 To help them reduce energy and water consumption.
 To gain the trust of many customers.
 To provide friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
 To offer variety of services that can save them time and effort.
 To provide an adequate and clean linen to all customers.
 To build good employer-employee relationship.
 To provide high quality services to all consumers.
 To be a trusted enterprise.

III. Name of the business

Every business has a name or brand that will give idea to the customers the type
of business you have. The researcher’s business name is "Bubble Bliss” where
laundry time becomes a delightful experience. Bubble which came from the detergents
and Bliss which means joy. The laundry service that goes beyond with just washing but
also brings the touch of joy to your fabrics. “Bubble Bliss”, your go-to laundry service in
town, ensures your garments not only will come out clean but also with a dash of bliss.

I. Market Environment
Having a market study in each enterprise is important because this is where the
customers can know the place of the business. The researcher decided to put up the
business there because of the people living there are mostly working from Monday to
Saturday.

Management and Organizational Study

I. Form of Ownership
The form of ownership for the business is sole proprietorship. This business is a
form of micro-enterprise due to the fact that only ten or less employees will work in this
establishment. The owner is sole decision-maker and liable for the business and its
employees.

II. Administrative Policies


For Employee

 Always greet customers with a smile.


 Always wear your proper uniform.
 Keep the workplace clean and sanitized.
 No Smoking
 Arrive on time for your shift.

For Customers

 Always check their belongings.


 Pick-up of Laundry should be on-time, if not inform us right away.
 Free to choose the laundry detergent that will be used on their clothes.
 Pay first before washing.
 Clothes with heavy stains should be pre-washed.
III. Organizational Structure
CHAPTER IV
Technical Study

I. Production Process

The diagram above shows the laundry process. Each process is explained
below:

SORTING: Here the clothes are sorted by the Laundry attendant, it will be sort by the
white, colored and according to the type of fabric.

WEIGHTING: After sorting, it must be weighted so that machines will not be overloaded.

WASHING: Clothes will be washed with the chosen laundry detergent or liquid
detergent by the customer.

DRYING: After washing clothes will be transferred in a dryer.

STEAM PRESSING: Steam Pressing will only be done if the customer wants it to be
pressed and not machine dried.

PACKING: Once pressed or dried, clothes will be properly fold then pack it in the plastic
bags then it will be attached with the duplicate order slip.

DELIVERY OR PICK UP: Clients are free to choose if they want the newly washed
clothes to be picked-up in the shop or delivered by our Delivery Rider.
II. Business Location

The laundry service business is exactly located along Blk 151 Phase 2 Mabuhay
City Subdivision. It is along the main road of Mabuhay City Subdivision, the researcher
decided to place the laundromat here because there no existing laundry services within
this area. It is also besides a printing services shop and near a mini-market and a gym.
It is in a promising location since the area is already becoming a business area.

The following skill requirements are needed to ensure the success of the
business, each skill requirements differ depending on their job assignments. The
following job assignments and skills required are as follows:

MANAGER

The ideal candidate should demonstrate supervisory skills:

 Good organization
 Problem-solving orientation
 Has leadership skills
 Basic computer competences and customer focus
 Most candidates hold a high school diploma and are trained in laundry
operations.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

 Proven work experience as a laundry attendant or similar role familiarity with


cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
 Trustworthy
 Ability to stand for long periods of hours
 Outstanding organizational and time management skills
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
 High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

DELIVERY MAN

 Customer service skills


 Ability to organize time and workload
 Work well with others, and to pays attention to every detail

V. Waste Disposal
The common waste that the business will most likely have are laundry detergents
and softeners packages, in which the waste disposal that will be the segregation of
biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials

VI. Business Schedule

Bubble Bliss Laundry service is open every day of the week. Weekdays will be from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and for the weekends 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
