As the Security Supervisor of the company, the duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Implementation of safety precautions such as wearing of safety gear,
03 non smoking in hazardous areas. Vehicle speed, fire safety and
action in case of occurrence of firefighting evacuation etc.
Checking and recording of inward and outward movement of

Check all challan for incoming material and entry in register.
05 Without challan no material can enter in factory. Without material no
challan will receive in gate.
06 Documentation of inward and out ward movement of vehicles.

Check all gate pass for Outgoing material and entry in register.

Without gate pass no material can go outside from factory.
Check signature with specimen signature Prepared by, checked by,
approved by is okay or not. If okay then entry in register if not okay
08 then inform to security officer.
Without signature by the authorized person in gate pass and challan
no truck will allow to go outside of factory.
Administer first aid and also transport to the nearest medical post in
the event of a mishap.

Keep all Fire Fighting equipment ready. Keep clean all Fire Fighting
equipment ready. Trained fire fighter have to keep ready all time for
emergency requirement.
10 Handed over and taken over the charges and responsibility from the
Clerk who were on duty there. Supervisor will give gravity for taking
any instruction from Admin or Security Officer. He will follow the
instruction strictly for control main gate and keep secret all the
information of company. Maintain all register in main gate. Check all
DO’s truck number during entering time. After loading when a truck
came for going outside then check all documents .All gate pass will

check for Returnable and Non-returnable items and entry in register.
Strictly maintain that nobody can enter without proper justification.

 Visitors at site/premises should be provided with temporary
visitors ID cards.
 All vehicles moving in/out of the location should be logged by
security at the gate.
 Details of driver, odometer reading etc. should be recorded.
 Visitors should be allowed at site only after permission from the
person to be visited or appropriate authority.
 Key control and locking procedures should be recorded at the
gate house by the security.
 Record of storage duplicate keys should be maintained.
 Personnel search procedures should be strictly followed.
 Gate passes for appointed authority should issue outward
movement of material only. A copy of the gate pass should be
handed over to security that will ensure physical verification at
the time of exit.
 Copies of specimen signatures authorizing outward movement of
12 material and equipment should be made available to security.
 Inward movement of material should be documented and
physically verified as far as possible.
 Gate passes should be checked strictly, issued to personnel
moving out during working hours by authorized authority.
 All working location must have standard first aid kits and a
vehicle/ambulance earmarked for emergency.
 Instruction should be given to maintain speed limits for vehicles.
 Propagation of security and safety measures should be
implemented and appropriate signboard should be displayed.
 Warning danger sign to be displayed on vehicles carrying heavy
and bulky equipment.
 Sensitive/high value material should be moved under security
escort.
 Antecedent verification of local employees should be undertaken
prior to assigning them to jobs.
To discharge any other duty entrusted by the management
