THESIS: DEFENDED
The TEAM Research Club conducted a project, “LIKHA: Launching of Innovations,
Knowledge-Honing, and Applications” that was held in Calamba Bayside Integrated School
last February 3, 2023. This is a yearly presentation of research initiated by the Practical
Research 2 Teachers, Mrs. Mylene D. Ganzon, the club adviser, Mrs. Dhonabel A. Catelo, the
assistant, and Ms. Geona M. Badenas, the secretary.
The Grade 12-Busa HUMMS students, which is Mrs. Catelo’s advisory, presented and
defended their research to the panelists, Mr. Neri, Ms. Canilan, and Mrs. Ganzon. They
presented a well-written research, explained and discussed them thoroughly.
On the other hand, Grade 12- Hegel, the other HUMMS students and under the
advisory of Mrs. Sapnu, presented their research to the panelists, Ms. Maming, Mr. Neri, and
Mr. David, with the presence of our beloved principal, Mrs. Elsa Pagulayan, who showed
support and made contribution in giving suggestions to the students’ researches for them to
advance further in their studies.
Meanwhile, the Grade 12- Éclair students, who are under the advisory of Mrs.
Badenas, presented their researches to the panelists, Mrs. Dawang, Mrs. Lumagbas, and Mrs.
Sapnu which they gained better understanding on how to perform the analysis more
effectively.
As for the Grade 12- Kelvin students, they presented their research to the panelists,
Mr. De Jesus, Mr. Resurrecion, and Mr. Ramos. They are also the panelists in Grade 12-
Ravioli, including Mrs. Dawang, Mrs. Novillos, and Mrs. Catello. Both sections are under the
advisory of Mrs. Ganzon.
Then, Mrs. Catelo’s advisory, Grade 12-Julienne, had their oral defense with the
panelists, Mrs. Novillos, Ms. Canilan, and Mrs. Lumagbas in which they offered their skills
in cooking and in their presentation.
This oral defense is a great way for the students to learn more about conducting
research, how it can benefit potential students, and the value of research. The teachers gave
their huge support for the student’s future studies as well as gaining information to help them
advance even further.
