animals (rubber bands, juice, jeans,
pencil, medicine, bread, money,

Start the class with Revision:
• Hand out a photocopy of a subject flashcard to each Sin
random order. Tell Ss to fold the photocopy in half so that the
picture doesn't show.
• Ask Ss to mingle with other Ss in the classroom, asking, Do you
like ... ? and the subject depicted on their flashcard, in order to find
other Ss with the same flashcard and form a group.
• The group that forms the fastest wins.
• Once Ss have formed their groups ask them, e.g. How many
students like maths/English/PE/ science? and encourage Ss to
answer, e.g. Five students like maths/English/PE/science.

Warm up:
• Stick the flashcards of zebra, koala and monkey on the board. Point to the
animals and say, animals. Have Ss repeat after you a couple of times.
• If you are wearing jeans point to them and say, jeans. Have Ss repeat after
you a couple of times. Alternatively, call up a Swearing jeans and follow the
