Burimet: Lidhja me fushat e tjera ose me temat ndërkurrikulare: Text book , Class Cds, flashcards, board, pens, markers Metodologjia dhe veprimtaritë e nxënësve Metodologjia Lidhja e temës me njohuritë e mëparshme të nxënësve: Start the class with a Warm Up activity: • Put the flashcards for the Lesson (ant, grasshopper, She's doing her homework., It's carrying food., It's snowing.) in the 'mystery' bag. • Make sure you put the flashcards in the order the new vocabulary appears in the SB. • Play the CD (Track 47) and slowly pull out the flashcards as each word is heard. Hold up each flashcard, say the word and ask Ss to repeat. • Alternatively, pretend you are doing your homework and say, I'm doing my homework. Ndërtimi i njohurive të reja Move to Activity 1 Vocabulary: Have Ss open their books to page 36. • Point out the words/ phrases in the vocabulary section. Play the CD a few times and have Ss point to the corresponding pictures and repeat. Then move to activity 2: Before reading • Hold up the book and point to the story. • Tell Ss that they will Listen to and read a story with the title The Grasshopper and the Ant. • At this stage L 1 can also be used, if necessary. • Point to the first frame and ask Ss to tell you where they think the characters in the story ore. {They are in a field.) While reading • Play the CD and point to each frame in your book. Encourage Ss to point to each frame in their books. • Elicit Ss' answers. (The grasshopper asks the ant to play together but the ant is always busy with something. The seasons change and while the ant is preparing for the winter, the grasshopper is still playing outside untroubled. Finally. winter arrives and the grasshopper is hungry and thirsty. The ant then offers to give the grasshopper something to eat and drink.) • Play the CD again and ask Ss to point to each speech bubble and follow along. • Direct Ss' attention to the frames of the story and ask them to find and circle any activities, as presented in the vocabulary section of the story and previous lessons. (Frame 1: I'm studying .. I'm doing my homework., Frame 2: I'm watering the flowers .. Frame 3: I'm planting a tree .. Frame 4: I'm cleaning .. Frame 5: We are carrying food., I'm
