On this Saturday I filmed at my
dad’s friend’s birthday gathering as
we went to Oche which is an
electronic darts game that you can
play with friends and family, and I
recorded some clips there on my
GoPro and I love the low quality of
them because it makes them feel
authentic and more personal. I would
like to include these either in my
music video or in my promotional
strategies on my Instagram.

I will be filming in London
especially places with rooftop
views some ideas include St
Pauls cathedral and in
Hammersmith because these
are the places where I would be
able to get the best landscapes
for my music video and
because my dad in his
interview described going to
places like this. I would also
like to try and find a location
with an abandoned car park, so
I need to explore and research
into finding a place like this.

I will be filming scenes at my
grandparent’s house in Cryes
Hill, Great Kingshill. These
scenes will be shot all around
their house specifically my
dad’s old bedroom, the kitchen,
the lounge and in the garden.
These scenes will be used to
present the feelings of
nostalgia, being in the house
my dad grew up in. I am also
going to film in the woods next
to my grandparent’s house
because that is also where my
dad used to go.

going to try and get shots from

This is the final weekend that I
must film so I will be recording
the finishing shots and making
sure that I have everything I
need to proceed into editing.
This includes reshoots at my
to film scenes of my brother on
his bike around my village
because these are the early
childhood scenes that I need to
portray.

Description of visuals
Ben Stanton a 40-year-old man with dark
features wearing Carhartt jeans walks up the
stairs into a bedroom that is very bear with one
singular bed and a side table. He turns on an old
radio player and starts speaking about what the
room used to look like when he was a child (red
subtitles) .
Ben Stanton then sits on the bed, and it cuts to a
match cut transition to 15-year-old Ben Stanton
sat on the same bed, but the room has posters of
Liverpool players including John Barnes and
albums and CDs covering the walls of Bruce
Springsteen, Manic Street Preachers and EMF.
Ben Stanton is wearing a band merchandise t-
shirt will denim baggy jeans Ben stands up and
walks over to his light brown polished guitar
and picks it up, he then walks over to the
window and looks out into the garden. There are
CDs all over the floor and the camera zooms
into Bens’s face, he starts to pick them up off
the floor, but the camera is fixed onto his face as
he bends down to pick them up. Slowly, he
walks over to his black cd player and places the
cd into the cd rom.
Cristine Stanton is making a cup of tea in a
kitchen, but the camera is focusing on her waist
upwards and her hands this is a timelapse effect.
Arc shot sped up around the small lounge which
is populated by Christine in a cream-coloured
chair, Barry in a thin green chair and Ben
Stanton in a large brown cushioned chair.
Ben and Cristine Stanton are sat at a wooden
table looking at old photos of Ben, they are
reminiscing on memories. Ben looks up to the
fisheye lens and lip syncs into the lens while
Cristine Stanton is still looking at the photos.
Camera angle then switches, and Cristine looks
up into the fisheye lens and starting lip syncing
the lyrics and arises from her chair and starts
dancing while Ben is still looking at the books.
Ben Stanton is riding his bike down a country
lane shaded by trees towards a white gate which
is the entrance to a large field. Ben walks over

(Music sounds like it is being played on a
speaker and the volume rises and becomes
the soundtrack)

to extreme closeups on Barry who has replaced

strong expressions on his face. All focus is on
him as he is spotlighted with the lights.
Cyclical ending as location goes back to the
start in Ben Stantons old bedroom but in modern
day. Ben turns of the cd player and takes out the
CD and looks into the camera and jokingly
punches the screen.

What are your plans for if something goes wrong? What back up actors, locations and
equipment do you have?

If actors are unavailable, I have replacements for the main actors. If Ethan Stanton is
unavailable to play Ben Stanton as a child, I will cast my cousin Tyler Stanton to play Ben
Stanton as a teenager and I will edit the scenes I have to record and adjust the activities and
hobbies ben does to suit the older age because Tyler is 18 years of age. If Ben Stanton isn’t
available, I will replace him with Andrew Stanton his brother who looks very similar to him
and would be a realistic replacement and he would work very well with Tyler Stanton
because that is his son so if Ben Stanton was unavailable, it would make sense to put Tyler
Stanton forward for the role of a younger version of Ben. If Barry and Cristine Stanton are
unavailable, I will replace them with my mother’s parents Margret Hales and Christopher
Hales or I could change the storyline completely and film at Margret Hales house and change
to storyline to my mother Clare Stanton’s childhood, but this would be my last resort as this
would be very time consuming as I would have to-do my primary research and my
production planning. If my DSLR camera isn’t working sufficiently then I have another
device to use which is my GoPro this is useful because it has the wide angle and a low quality
that I would like for my production so the picture would need little editing.
