The energy of the cheering crowd and the adrenaline rush of competition – these are the things that have
always made sports so exciting for me. It's not just about the games themselves, though. Sports have a unique
ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie that extends far beyond the
playing field.

Right from my childhood, I have been actively involved in sports, and have absolutely enjoyed and loved it.
And with this love and passion of mine, I have tried to put in every effort possible, for the committee during
my Shadowship. Throughout my involvement with the committee, I have consistently dedicated myself to
its success, contributing in every way possible across all areas. My commitment has been unwavering,
volunteering my time selflessly whenever and wherever needed.
I have consistently delivered smooth event experiences such as, for Housie-Night, I spearheaded creating
materials and logistics that ensured its seamless operation. Representing our college at ENSEMBLE
VALHALLA, I excelled as a Point of Contact, fostering clear communication between both colleges and
participants. Most recently, I invested one dedicated month in Rann-X-Bhoomi, contributing to flawless
planning and execution across all aspects.

All of these experiences has definitely had a positive impact on my leadership, communication and decision
making skills. I have learned how to deal with stressful situations and manage them with a calm mind. I have
showed great teamwork and I believe that I have the potential to lead the team with all fair means.
I am confident that my dedication, coupled with my honed skills, positions me as a strong candidate for this
leadership role. I possess the potential to lead the Sports Committee with fairness and a commitment to
maximizing benefits for both the committee and the university as a whole.

Initiative I have planned to take upon are:

1. I aim to increase our University’s participation in various Inter- College tournaments. This will help
in increasing XIM’s visibility and would contribute a lot in the sporting culture.
2. I aim to organize Rann-X-Bhoomi, the flagship sports fest of XIM University on a much larger
scale.
3. ⁠I aim to conduct an “All Women Sports Fest” in the beginning of every year, to enhance women
representation in sports.
4. I am aiming to organize mentorship/ motivational sports talks by inviting prominent sports leaders,
who can come and share their invaluable life experiences.
