Dude – Cara
Mind-blowing/Off the chain – Impressionante
On fleek – Extremamente chique
BAE (Before anyone else) – “ namorado(a)”
Nice one – Boa! (escolha, atitude)
Fancy (adjetivo) – Chique /Sofisticado
(verbo) – Gostar (sinônimo de Like)
ASAP (As soon as possible) – “ o quanto antes” / “o mais rápido possível” /eisep/
24/7 – “o tempo todo” “ 24 horas por dia”

Genitive case
1 – Pessoas, animais, lugares, organizações,empresas.
Regra: apóstrofo + s
Exemplos:
The manager’s office.
Jack’s daughter.
The horse’s tail.
My father’s day.
My uncle’s house.
Jason’s car was stollen last night.
2 – Donos no plural:
Regra: Colaca-se apenas o apóstrofo e não repete o “s”.
Assim:
The two sisters’ house is next to mine.

3 - Nomes Separados:
Jack’s daughter wedding was wonderful.
Jake’s and Sam’s laptops are broken.

4 – Nomes terminados em “S”:

Regra: coloca-se o apóstrofo + S
They had a really good time at James’s barbecue last Friday.

5 – Grupo de palavras:
The President of Chille’s speech was very long.
I took someone elses’s bag at home my mistake.

6 – “S” sozinho:
John’s apartment is much larger than Jane’s.
We ate at Billy’s last night.

7 – Com palavras de tampo:

Tomorrow’s meeting has been canceled.
Saturday’s paper.
Yesterday’s day.
 Obs: Para coisas:
Regra: usa "of the"

The door of the room.

The result of the game.
The top of the page.
