presented under the headings listed here: (Approximately 50 words)

This section provides an opportunity for you to explain

how you will reflect on and evaluate your work, as both
an ongoing activity and at the conclusion of the
project.

You should describe how you intend to record

your decision-making and how you will document
changes to your ideas as the project
progresses. The evaluation section should
reference your stated aims and
be reflective and analytical rather than a
description of actions completed.

When working in collaboration with others, you

should comment on how this may impact
either positively or adversely and outline the
steps you can take to minimise disruption to your own
progress.

Project action plan and timetable:

This section provides you with an opportunity to

outline your planning and organisation over a
period of weeks and the activities you will need to
carry out in order to successfully complete
your project in the agreed time frame. The more
time and thought you give to
planning your project, the more successful it is
likely to be.

It is important that you consider how you will

balance ambition, time and realism in the
realisation of the project. You should also include
what you are going to do, how you will do it
and by when. Remember to include: time spent
sourcing materials and other resources to conduct
research, feedback from tutors and peers, and
when you will carry out independent study.

Bibliography (Harvard Format):

This section provides an opportunity to record the

initial research sources, both primary and
secondary, that you intend to use.

Your sources of research should be as wide

as possible and could include libraries,
galleries, books, magazines, films, computer games,
websites, blogs, social media, radio
programmes, archive material etc. Where
appropriate, you should use the Harvard
system of referencing. The bibliography should be
continuously updated as the
project progresses.

Project Title
Final Major Project - Skateboard Brand

Section 1: Rationale
(approx. 150 words) Reflecting on my performance over the previous units of this course, I believe I have made
significant progress since the start. As I look back at my Weebly sites and review previous
projects, I can see a clear progression in both my annotation skills and understanding of the
subject matter.

Throughout the course, I have acquired a diverse range of knowledge, skills, and
understanding. I have become proficient in using software such as Adobe Photoshop,
Illustrator, and InDesign, which has allowed me to create visually appealing designs and
graphics. Additionally, I have developed research skills, learning how to gather and analyse
information effectively to inform my design decisions.
I would consider my strengths to lie in design, vector illustrations, layout, and photo editing.
These are areas where I have demonstrated competence and where I feel most confident in my
abilities.
During this project, I aim to enhance my portfolio and build a strong body of work that
showcases my capabilities as a designer. Ultimately, I see this project as an opportunity to
continue growing and evolving as a designer, bringing me one step closer to achieving my
goals in the field of graphic design.

Unit 13 Project Proposal
Section 2: Project
Concept My project consists of creating a series of customised skateboards made by hand or digitally,
(approx. 200 words where each design will be unique and reflect the customer's taste and style. The goal is to
offer skateboarders the opportunity to have a deck that is a true expression of their personality
and interests, going beyond the standard designs available on the market and thus creating a
particular and chilling theme to the design.

This project is important because it allows skateboarders to have a unique customised

skateboard, to express their creativity and personal style in their performances. Many
skateboarders want to distinguish themselves from others and having a customised deck is a
perfect way to do this.

My target audience for this project is skateboarders of all ages who want a customisation
option for their skateboard. This includes both professional and amateur skateboarders, as
well as young people who want a unique skateboard to express their identity or decorate bare
walls with special designs.

The results of this project will be a series of customised skateboards reflecting the
individuality and style of the customers. Each skateboard will be a unique and one-of-a-kind
work of art created specifically for the customer. These customised skateboards will be
available for purchase through an online shop or a company specialising in customised
skateboards.

Section 3: Evaluation
(approx. 150 words)
To make sure I am doing well during the project, I will use a few different ways to check.
First, I will ask when I need help from my teacher or someone in the class. These meetings
will help me understand how I am doing and get advice if I need it. Then, I will talk about my
work to a target audience that is fond of the graphic style on skateboards, in this case with my
classmates or other designers. They can tell me what they think and help me advice on how to
improve it. Then, I will make to-do lists and set goals for myself. This will help me stay
organised and focus on getting everything done on time. And finally, at the end of each week,
I will take some time to think about what I have done and what I could improve. This will help
me understand if I am moving in the right direction.
