VCC REFUND POLICY

THERE IS A $25.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE TO PROCESS ANY REFUND. ALL REFUNDS ARE DONE IN THE
FORM OF AN E-TRANSFER TO YOUR VCC STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LOG INTO
myVCC, PLEASE USE THE ONLINE RESET OPTION PROVIDED. YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT ONE HOUR FOR
THE RESET TO TAKE EFFECT.

Refunds are calculated based on the start date of the course.

100% REFUND
For a 100% refund, students must withdraw up to and including the day before the start date of the course/program.

Apprentice course refunds are calculated as of 2 business days prior to the start of class. Withdrawals received on the
1st or 2nd business day before class start are not eligible for a refund.

International students and Continuing Studies students should refer to VCC procedure D.3.4 for eligibility rules.

50% REFUND
For a 50% refund, students must withdraw up to and including the 5th business day from the start of the
course/program.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER THE 5th BUSINESS DAY AFTER THE START DATE.

* Students' union fees, applicable fees, assesments fees, non-refundable deposits, laundry, material fees, Grad
fees, Campus Resource fees, fees paid by insert students upon registration are non-refundable.

REFUNDS WILL BE E-TRANSFERRED TO THE STUDENT'S VCC EMAIL ADDRESS WITHIN FOUR TO SIX
WEEKS OF RECEIVING THE STUDENT'S WRITTEN WITHDRAWAL REQUEST. VCC DOES NOT ISSUE
CASH REFUNDS.

All refunds are based on the date the written withdrawal is received in the Registrar's Office. Written withdrawals
submitted by email to records@vcc.ca will be processed as of the date received. Students who do not submit
withdrawls in writing are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to the above must go through the formal appeal process.
Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the last day of attendance.

differential programs.

Note: This policy does not apply to all courses or programs. International Education courses or programs, Continuing
Education courses or programs and all Apprentice Programs have different refund procedures.
