Motivation Letter

Dear Ruangguru Talent Acquisition Team,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Fahriyani Ananda, a final year law student currently
pursuing my Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Civil Law at Diponegoro University,
Semarang. I found this job posting on the @lifeatruangguru Instagram feeds, and I am interested in
Ruangguru LEAP Program for the Legal Internship.

The coronavirus (Covid-19) was officially declared a global pandemic by the World Health
Organization (WHO) on March 9th, 2020. The spread of the Covid-19 has become a public concern
because it forces people to have the ability to use, manage, understand, and assess technology, one of
which is very important needed by the world of education. Although online teaching and learning
have been running since the pandemic, it does not mean that this activity is running as expected. I
know at times like this, the Ruangguru platform is coming in handy. With the increasingly advanced
technology, Ruangguru can make such a good quality platform where people can learn without
meeting the teacher or tutor anytime and anywhere. The vision and mission of Ruangguru immensely
inspire me, so I believe that Ruangguru LEAP Program is the right choice for me to learn about how
education works, having to use technology in situations like this, and challenge me to get out of my
comfort zone. I'm convinced that I would be a great addition to the team because I'm a capable,
pleasant, and team-oriented person with a strong desire to succeed as a Legal Intern in this internship
program.

During my studies, I joined organizations that involved various parties, both internal and external. My
organizational skills have allowed me to communicate with individuals at all levels, consistently
complete tasks and projects within challenging times and prioritize schedules. I have prior experience
as a legal intern at the Notary office in Jakarta. Which, I have learned about the process of doing a
notarial deed, making an original of the deed, and other related activities. Also, I have the experience
as a delegate and a runner-up on the Annual Round Trophy of Asian Law Students' Association
(ALSA) Local Chapter Diponegoro University Internal Law Fair 2019, a competition of compiling a
legal review about "The Role of Law in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Indonesia:
Implementation Of Financial Technology And Regulations That Govern It". And then, I am also a
Coordinator and Vice Head of events (International-based) in the Faculty of Law Diponegoro
University. These roles made me have the capability to regulate and control my actions, feelings, and
thoughts. With these skills, I can follow through on the work I am supposed to be doing.

I am in my last semester with not many classes to attend and currently preparing for my thesis. I
would be available to join this internship program. I know I will make a positive contribution to the
Ruangguru LEAP Program, and I look forward to discussing my capabilities in more detail.
