GROUNDING TEST
Outline All of the cabinets are to be checked for proper grounding.
Objective Verify that ALL Cabinets are grounded properly according to the approved drawings.
Reference POWER DISTRIBUTION DRAWING :
With a calibrated multi-meter set to “Ohms”, place the leads between the protective earth ground bar and all the different locations
Procedure (devices) that the protective earth wires are connected to.
Check that all System doors are connected to their enclosures by the use of ground straps.
Espected Result Continuity across all protective grounding sections should exist.
MINIATURE CIRCUIT BREAKER(MCBs) TEST

Outline The I/O Cabinet breaker distribution shall be checked and verified as to its appearance and construction.

Objective Verify that the power system of the cabinet is built according to the approved drawings.

Reference Refer to Engineering drawings.

Close each breaker, one at a time, and verify that each corresponding device turns ON according to the approved drawings. Measure

the voltage at each device (light, outlets etc.).

Each device tested should be powered ON after the breaker or fuse disconnect is closed and the indication (for example, power LED)
