1. Tân ngữ trực tiếp và tân ngữ gián tiếp

S + V + O1 (tân ngữ gián tiếp) + O2 (tân ngữ trực tiếp)
vd: He gave me a book. (He gave a book to me.)
=> I was given a book (by him).
=> A book was given TO me (by him).

vd 2: He bought me these books. (He bought these books for me.)

=> I was bought these books.
=> These books were bought for me.

Những động từ đi với to/ for:

TO SB FOR SB
give, hand, show, offer, send, bring, write, buy, get, find, order, make, cook, build
tell, teach, leave, award

2. Cấu trúc bị động truyền khiến:

- have sb do something/ get sb to do sth => have/ get sth done(VPII) (by somebody)
vd: I have my brother clean the floor.
I get my brother to clean the floor. => I get the floor cleaned (by my brother).
I have the barber cut my hair. => I have my hair cut (by the barber).
I have just had a mechanic repair my car. => I have just had my car repaired.

3. It is + said/ believed/ rumoured/ thought + that + sb + do sth:

vd: People say that Ms. Phuong teaches English very well.
=> It is said that Ms. Phuong teaches English very well.
=> Ms. Phuong is said to teach English very well.

vd: People believe that he had left Vietnam.

=> It was believed that he had left Vietnam.
=> He was believed to have left Vietnam.
