M&E Analysis

The program was successfully conducted despite of almost exceeding to

General the time allotted. Most of the feedback was positive as reflected in the
Comments and participants’ comments. The following were the issues/concerns:
Issues
Encountered 1. The program needs to start earlier as planned because of the bad
weather in the morning.
2. A firm instruction to the attendees, for next school year’s Graduation
Day can be given to avoid interruption during the formal program (e.g.,
handing off water bottles and food to the awardees during the program,
running kids, random noise from too much chatting.)
3. A child was left by the parent unattended running in the aisle while the
program was on-going despite being warned once by a teacher.
4. Lots of trash was left because of the uncontrolled crowd going in and
out of their sits and passing it on to the graduates while the program is
on-going.
5. Graduates took off their academic cap during the program despite
being reprimanded many times.
6. Some certificates were not properly organized that caused delay of the
program.
7. Great number of unreturned Togas recorded
Recommendations 1. Two-way radios should be provided to have a quick means of
communication.
2. Class advisers should sit in the aisle with their students to help
control the crowd.
3. Non-advisers should sit in the opposite side or outer aisle for crowd
control as well.
4. The 1:1 Policy or one learner is to one guest only should be strictly
observed from the entrance of the venue as the program is solemn.
5. Proper coordination of the advisers and prompt action should be
conducted if there will be changes when it comes to the order of the
diplomas.
6. Foods and drinks should not be allowed inside the venue to avoid
litter as it will be used right after by other schools.
7. Different ushers should be assigned to designated guests to avoid
confusion.
8. The students should have been oriented about the proper way of
returning their togas to the designated area per section.
