Materials Needed:
Medium weight YELLOW yarn
Medium weight WHITE yarn
Dark Brown Felt
Black yarn (small scraps) or embroidery thread (optional)
2 black plastic eyes, 10mm (painted felt or carefully sewn black yarn can be
substituted to reduce choking hazard for young children)
4mm Crochet hook
Yarn needle
Stuffing
Hot glue

Head: in Yellow
1) magic circle with 6st (6)

Tail Spikes: in Yellow (5 parts sewn in a half circle- 2 small, 2 medium, 1 large)

[Assembly] Arrange the 5 spikes in a symmetrical arch formation (s,m,l,m,s)
around the back end of the body. Make sure they are pressed tightly together. Pin in
place and then sew them. See photo.

Neck Spikes: in White (this creates an open ring)

Ch 13, turn.
Sc in the second ch from the hook, sl in next ch.
(2ch, sc in second ch from the hook, sl in next ch) repeat this step across the rest of
the original chain. Should result in 10 little spikes arranged in an open ring shape.
f/o and leave a long tail for sewing. Pull it tight around the already-sewn neck and sew
in place.

Eyes: Glue or sew on black plastic eyes.

Ears Accents: (Make 2) in Dark Brown Felt

Cut long diamond shapes out of dark brown felt and glue them onto the ears.

Nose, etc.: in Black yarn or embroidery thread

Sew a tiny nose centered between the eyes.
*optional*– Mouth: Sew a “W” shape immediately below the nose.
