Objective:

1. To reintroduce and remind her on what we shared in our previous training meeting.

2. Introduced the outline of what we were to educate her on, in our current training.

This included following:

I. Digital Marketing
II. Business plan
III. Stop Motion, product shots and other animation content creation
IV. Canva

Prior to meeting her on Friday, we sent a message to confirm her availability on Friday, 1st March, 2024,
which she confirmed. Unfortunately, our client was unavailable to meet us on Friday, as she was
overwhelmed with work. We asked her to reschedule us on another day and she suggested Sunday,
however, she still was not available. Upon conversations made today, we met at 3:15pm. The training
lasted about 50 minutes.

Prior to Friday’s meeting, we sent her a message outlining what we shared last 2 weeks, as a reminder
and what we planned to share last week, so she could prepare herself for today’s training.

Key findings for 4th March, 2024 are as follows:

1. Owner only has Instagram and WhatsApp


2. She is quite busy and will need an effective way to post content regularly on her Instagram
specifically.
3. She has suspended Instagram posts for the time being due to her busy schedule and posts only
on her WhatsApp updates.
4. Currently uses less visuals for her introduction to her business and uses texts mostly.
5. She is very creative and this will help her in her flyer and content creation.

After the above findings, we took the following initiatives:

1. We suggested a link which exists between Instagram and Facebook posts.


2. We also suggested a link between Instagram reels, Facebook stories and WhatsApp updates.
3. We educated her on Instagram scheduler which she can utilize in planning all her posts for a
week within just maximum 10 minutes.
4. We asked a few questions and took her through her own customized digital marketing plan
(picture attached below and main excel sheet attached in mail).

5. Created a few videos using content from her WhatsApp updates to demonstrate using Canva
beyond just flyers (attached to mail).

We assigned to her the following:

1. We assigned to her to use some of her videos and her creativity to create content videos and
images for her social media.

2. We assigned to her to think through adding Facebook to her social media presence.

3. We assigned to her to follow the digital media plan drawn to attempt a 2 posts a week on her
Instagram.

Highlights:

1. She was excited by the ease of creating videos, she has decided to even start the usage of the
ones created today in her next posts.
2. The introduction of sites like “remove.bg” to remove backgrounds and “PNGegg.com” to get
images with transparent backgrounds really excited her as well.

Lowlights/Challenges:

1. Client is very busy hence, mostly had to cancel out several meet ups until she got a free time for
us today.
2. Due to time, we only touched on product shots and animation creation to include in her
content.
3. She was not able to entirely migrate her manual bookkeeping to excel, however she did attempt
it with some recent expenses she made and has decided to create time to do the migration.

Conclusion:

We had an exciting time with Nana Ama. Her passion for her job makes it easy to teach her. She
constantly makes impressive additions to what we teach her which makes our presentation also rich.
She has already researched and downloaded the “built” app which she is awaiting to be educated on.

Thankfully, she has opened up more, compared to our first meeting, which we believe is a sign of trust.
We constantly call to check up on her and we believe this has created some level of relationship
between Nana Ama, Sophia and myself.
We are so excited to keep learning and teaching her.
