Besides educating the students about various

plants, Department also provides an opportunity
for better interaction among students and the
faculty members, thereby creating a conducive
environment for more effective teaching-
learning process. During the annual festival
‘Inflorescence’, various inter- and intra-college
events are organized to widen the horizons of
their knowledge and also encourage them to
improve their creative talent and skills.

INFLORESCENCE is the annual flagship event of

Sanjeevani- The botanical society of Hindu
College, University of Delhi.

It is a one days event which includes various

competitions and fun activities which broaden
the understanding of thousands of students
about the flora we have around us. The event is
attended by students from almost every college
of University. Inflorescence promises to be an
electrifying event, proudly hosting our
distinguished alumni from a variety of fields.

Guidelines:

Topic : Environmental Science

Eligibility: Open exclusively to undergraduate
students.
Team Composition: Individual or Team of 2 members.
Reporting Time: 10:00 AM for all participants.
Entry Requirement: A valid college ID must be
presented for entry.
Participation Fee: A nominal fee of ₹40/- per team.
Awards: E-certificates will be provided to all
participants, with special prizes awaiting the
winners.
Competition is divided in 3 rounds : Preliminary,
Mains and Rapid fire.
Preliminary round will be organised on Unstop on 4th
April 2024 between 10:00 AM TO 8:00 PM.

Guidelines:

Team Composition: 2 to 5 members per team.

Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate students ready
for an adventure.
Reporting Time: 9:30 AM for all participants.
Entry Requirement: A valid college ID must be
presented for entry.
Participation Fee: A nominal fee of ₹40/- per
participant.
Awards: E-certificates will be provided to all
participants, with special prizes awaiting the
winners.
The challenge is divided into two main parts: a
Scavenger Hunt followed by a Treasure Hunt.
Elimination: Only the top teams from Round 1 will
proceed to Round 2.

PAPER PRESENTATION
COMPETETITION

Guidelines:

Students from undergraduate courses enrolled in any

college are allowed to participate.
The content of the presentation should be original. In
case any plagiarism is found, the entry will be
disqualified.
Entry can be individual or in groups (not more than 3
participants in one group).
The participants will be given a minimum of 7 minutes
and a maximum of 10 minutes to present the topic
If the time limit exceeds 10 minutes or is less than 7
minutes, there will be a negative marking.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-
answer round.
The participants should bring the presentation in a
pen drive on the day of the competition. A copy of the
presentation should be submitted by 04 April 2024.
