Intro

Good morning/afternoon everyone, today I, Kian Matthew C. De Jesus will

be your tourist guide. Today we will be exploring boracay. Now, has
anyone here been to boracay before? Specifically in the year 2018? And if
you have, you would of had noticed that the water was moldy, I ask my self,
how can we stop this from happening again? Well, we can start by building
an eco friendly sewage system because this has been a problem in
boracay and other places as well. And as i said before with the eco friendly
sewage system, we will be collecting human feeces and human urine to
produce fertilizers and drinkable purified water which Could potentially
boost the farm business in Boracay because fertilizers will be cheap and
accessible, water will not be a problem of the people of Boracay as well.
Many people will also benefit from the eco friendly sewage system like
farmers, or people who have environmental related jobs. Now, why do
people even visit boracay? For me i think it's because of the beautiful white
beaches and the views specifically the sunset. Those are just some of
them, there are many more places to visits in Boracay, and it also has
many activities to do like boracay sunset cruise, Island hopping, Boracay
helmet dive and many more to choose from.

History

Boracay was originally inhabited by tumandok and ati people, they lived of
by cultivating rice and raising goats. But because of the commercial
development in boracay the tumandok and ati people lost their home. After
a few years boracay was being visited by foreigners. The island became
popular as a budget destination for backpackers, it was also said that
boracay has the best beaches in the world. However the island tourism
arrivals dropped 60 persent due to the increase of coliform bacteria from
poor sewage system on the island.

Location

Boracay is located in the west side of visayas region, it is a small island in

the philipines located 315km south of manila and 2km off the northwest of
panay island in the western visayas region of philipines.
