1. I realized that during Rizal's time in Ateneo Municipal de Manila, I witnessed his
dedication to learning despite challenges. He values education even though some of his
professors don't like him and are envious of him.
2. I recognized his resilience when Rizal faced discrimination in Europe but continued
his studies and advocacy for Philippine independence even if it cost him his life.
3. It is evident that when Rizal fearlessly criticized the Spanish colonial government
through his writings like "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo". He's been an eye
opener for us.
4. I learned from Rizal's efforts to preserve Filipino culture and traditions through his
artworks and writings. Like when he wrote in his novel how Filipinos lived even before
the Spanish Colonization.
5. The commitment to serve social justice was highlighted by Rizal's involvement in
various socio-political reforms like La Liga Filipina and his concern for the welfare of
the Filipino people when Spanish priars abuses their power to rule the Filipino and it's
system.
6. Through Rizal's compassion or his motivation to take action or help for the
marginalized and oppressed Filipino, as seen in his interactions with the poor and his
advocacy for social reforms.
7. It was embodied in Rizal's analytical or his critical thinking in approaching societal
issues and his promotion of rationality and enlightenment. He compares the life of a
Filipino abroad to the life of a Filipino here in the Philippines and evaluates it and
makes what he thinks is the solution for it to be solved.
8. Rizal shows perseverance in relentless pursuit of his advocacies despite facing
numerous challenges and setbacks. Like when he doesn't have any allowance or money
to mass produce his writings he works to earn and is helped by his friend.
9. I learned that Rizal's respect for different cultures and religions, as evidenced by his
interactions with people from diverse backgrounds during his travels. He's been friends
with some Spaniards and like when he went to America he felt empathy for Africans
that are being discriminated against there. It is also evident as he was having some
romantic relation to women he met though his travel abroad.

10. And lastly, I realized through Rizal's writings and effort during his time, he was able
to put an impact on Philippine society, inspiring generations to strive for freedom,
