this lesson, students will - use the possessive apostrophe to talk about possessions by rewriting sentences
be able to: -listen to a radio call in show in order to get specific information.-
-make use of phrasal verbs to talk about celebrities by matching sentences and
definitions.
-use the past perfect and past perfect progressive to describe a famous people
by completing sentences.
Talk about interior design by acting out a role play..

1- Grammar focus 1: Presentation – Practice – Production (PPP) style

 Presentation .Teacher introduces the possessive apostrophe through


a conversation, he explains function and provides new examples
using a digital index card..

 Practice. Then SS will rewrite sentences with the correct possessive form
and complete a table with example s of a text.
 Production .Finally SS will make up new sentences with the possessive
apostrophe and they will express them orally.

2-Listening task: pre: Before listening, SS try to identify celebrities


from the text, What are they famous for? What do they think about
their fashion styles?
During:SS are going to listen to a radio call show, they will decide if
the sts are true or false.
Post:T-SS check the answers on the board.
3- Grammar Focus 2:Presentation .Teacher introduces the past
perfect and past perfect progressive using a short biography of
Jennifer lopez.he explains function and provides new examples on
the board. practice.SS will complete sentences using the past perfect
and or the past perfect progressive. production. SS will make up new
sentences using the past perfect and the past perfect progressive,
then they will share with the whole class.

4- vocabulary activity.presentation:Teacher introduces some


written examples using phrasal verbs. Practice: SS will match
phrasal in bold with definitions. production Teacher provides Ss with
a booklet having phrasal verbs, SS will make up new sentences to
be shared with the class.

5- Speaking Task :SS are going to listen to a conversation about design ,


they will work in pairs, they will make up a role play with a given
situation ,A friend has asked for help in order to draw up a plan for his or
her room or her house. SS will talk about the interior design and they will
act it out.Grammar in use: Past perfect and past perfect progressive.
