GRAMMAR TUESDAY.: :Warm up: teacher introduces his class writing on the board some
VOCABULARY questions. Who is the most successful person you , what has he or she
PRONUNCIATION accomplished?
LISTENING What characteristics make someone or something succeccful? When have you
SPEAKING enjoyed success?
READING COMPREHENSION Vocabulary preview: teacher asks Ss what words do they know about
WRITING success. Then Ss will complete a text with given word, finally Ss check the
answers.
Listening task 1: pre: SS will look a list of achievements, they will check the
things they have already achieved. During; Global listening : Ss are going to
listen to what is success they will circle the best sentence that summarizes the
presentation.. Ss will look at the notes they will check the ideas they should be
included in a summary of the presentation .close listening, Ss will liste again
they will answer rue and false . Finally Tand Ss will check the answers .

Wednesday: vocabulary skill : teacher introduces some examples of


homophones , then he explains the function . then Ss will look at some
sentences from what is success , they will circle the correct homophone .finally
ss will complete the questions with a homophone.

Listening task 2: pre:T asks Ss what do they know about Olympic games ,Are
they important? Why or why not? Global listening: Ss will listen to a speech
of bidding for the games , they mark each idea as MI OR D details. Close
listening , SS wil listen to a exerpt from the lecture and complete a paragraph
with the appropriate words .Finally Ss and T check the correct answers.

Thursday : computer lab: Ss are given a web site , teacher explains how to
use it, Ss will practice listening skill and grammar. 9-10am
Grammar focus : First Teacher introduces the past progressive through a
conversation,, then he explains the function and provides new written
examples on the board.Ss will complete sentences using the past progressive. .
finally Ss will make up new statements using the grammar , they will share
theses examples.

Friday: video practice: SS are going to watch an online video about success ,
after they have watch the video , teacher asks them questions based on it.
Speaking activity 2 SS are given different topics, each SS will perform oral
presentations using wall paper .a cardboard , pictures etc. other groups are
invited . they perfom them on the hall.
