Packaging
 Primary Packaging: Our product is packed in a glass with a lid, facing upwards.

the coffee is in direct contact with it. For sachets, we prefer value sealed bags and
such bags hinder gases generated from within (CO 2) to ruin the coffee.
 Secondary Packaging: Glass jars are packed in attractive cardboard boxes. Secondary
packaging is a mix of standard and custom packaging of Caffy.
 Transportation/Tertiary Packaging: For storage and transportation, cardboard boxes
are placed in corrugated boxes made of shock absorbing material to handle the glass
jars with care.
Break Even Analysis
Variable Cost = Rs. 2,55,000
Start-up cost = Rs. 28,40,000
Fixed cost = Rs. 3,26,000
Depreciation = Rs. 2,000
Variable cost is Rs. 2,55,000 to produce 63,750 coffee jars of 25 gm.
• So, the cost of 1 gm coffee is 2,55,000/63,750 = Rs. 4
Rs. 4 is the cost of 1 gm of coffee which we will be selling at the price of Rs. 10
Cost price = Rs. 4
Selling price = Rs. 10
Gross profit = 10 – 4 = Rs. 6
Break Even Point = Fixed cost + Depreciation/Gross profit
= 3,26,000+2000/6 = 54,667 units
