understand how much damage was caused by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in
1991.

1. Cite at least two effects of the Mount Pinatubo eruption.
- One effects of the eruption is the loss of their permanent job and home.
Many number of family have lost their homes due to the rain-soaked ash.
- Secondly, the farmers have lost their job.
- The Mount Pinatubo eruption resulted a severe damage to the agriculture,
forestry and land. The eruptio costed many millions of dollars especially to
the people who have lost their job and home
2. How many families permanently lost their homes due to the eruption?
- 50,000 families have permanently lost their home and 650,000 have lost
their jobs.
3. What type of eruption was shown in the video?
- Cataclysmic eruptionwas shown in the video. Weeks after the eruption the
Mount Pinatubo is stil spewing forth ash and rock.
