How to seriously clear your skin 101

(affirmations include all of the habits)

-Eat fermented foods- yogurt, kefir, kimchi, fermented vegetables like pickles, cabbages, etc.
Acne can be caused by gut problems, and the good bacteria and probiotics in fermented foods
help to heal it.
-Try getting a zinc supplement/vitamin, it has a chance of drastically getting rid of your acne.
-Cut out milk and avoid cheese (milk seriously causes acne, instead I recommend you drink
oat milk)
-Eating clean means avoiding processed foods, and sweets, and making your own healthy
whole foods. Have a balanced diet (you can have cheat days, but limit them to 2-1 times a
month, and remember that cheat days are not a reward.)
-Some foods that you should incorporate into your diet for healthy skin:
● Brazil/ almond nuts
● Berries and fruit (any)
● Turmeric
● Vegetables, for the best example, carrots, broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes, zucchini, etc.
(any) + leafy greens
● Protein from eggs, fish, chicken, etc., except red meat.
-Some foods that you should avoid for healthy skin:
● Carbs, especially bread (I recommend switching to rye bread) and pasta
● Sweets like milk chocolate, ice cream, pastries, cookies, candy.
● Salty foods like chips, pretzels, salt popcorn, etc.
● Sodas, juices, coffee.
● Peanuts and peanut butter (I didn’t know this and I got tons of acne from peanut butter)
● Not a food, but avoid snacking overall

-Never pop your pimples, because it causes scarring

-Never touch your face or bite your nails, because it puts bacteria on your skin
-Wash your face 2x times a day
-(you have to do your research for this) Find your skin type and the most suitable skincare
products. I recommend the app Skin Bliss. -The percentage in products for your skin type
may be wrong, so always check the ingredients, because most of the time there are no bad
ones but just not many good ones and it doesn’t mean it’s a bad product.
-Drink a minimum of 2l water a day. Drink lemon water, matcha, green tea, (spear) mint tea,
dandelion tea!!!
-Get a minimum 7 hours of sleep (aim for 8)
-Be very clean- wash your hands before eating, wash your phone screen every day, and switch
your pillowcase, loofah, and face towel often.
-Exercise, take walks, stretch, move your body in any kind of way daily

Incorporate some of the bigger habits one by one for at least a week each, don’t push yourself
to do everything at once, then it will be harder to stay dedicated. Patience pays off.
I also really recommend you watch videos from the channel Team Acne on youtube.
