This week was a big week but I am finally feeling the effects of having a partner at my desk.
Lisa started February 5th and is doing very well so far. She is done with her virtual trainings and
is now full time at the front desk in the clinic with me. I will admit it was hard to get used to at
first. I have been the only PSC for a long time in Dunwoody. I am also somewhat of an introvert
so having someone next to me the entire workday has been tiring. This week I finally got to train
her in Epic. Epic is the EMR system that WellStar Hospital System uses so we use it for billing
purposes. It is a complicated system that is very intimidating at first. I am proud of both Lisa and
Our clinic officially hit the 200 visit mark this week. that is a huge milestone for our location.
The Dunwoody clinic has 3 therapists that have all been there well over a year. This is slightly
unusual for PT Solutions as a fast growing company as successful therapists will quickly move
clinics to become a clinic manager or open their own clinic. The consistency at Dunwoody is
reflected by our major volume increase over the past several months.
Lisa also got to attend her first PSC monthly meeting on Wednesday with me. This is when
all of the clinics in Leslie’s region meet via Teams for 30-45 minutes to discuss company
updates, questions, and concerns. This week was mostly introducing new team members and
Dunwoody is getting so busy that we are having to push new patients out almost a week. we
used to be able to squeeze someone in within 24-48 hours no problem, now I am struggling to fit
people anywhere. Strategic scheduling is a huge part of my job and it is becoming an obstacle
now. I hope that the clinic continues to grow however, we need relief. Hopefully we can get
