1-21-20 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: My day at the center began at nine. I opened and looked at
the material on GeorgiaView. The material went deeper into what Women’s Centers do.
Along with doing the readings I got material together for an informational pamphlet on
also had our staff meeting. During the meeting we reviewed coming events and discussed
the plans we currently had for them. After this we split into groups and discussed our
1-23-20 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Thursday I looked over the materials on GeorgiaView
again so I would be refreshed for our internship meeting when we discuss them. Around
2:30 p.m. Dr. Graham stopped in the room where we work to let us know she had a
meeting and she was going to try and be back on time for the meeting. She let us know
that if she did not get back in time, we should discuss the readings and plans we had for
upcoming events. Most of our time together it was just the interns, but Dr. Graham
returned in time to check what we had discussed and what we thought about the readings.
We also discussed how we were feeling about the internship so far. We also decided to
make appointments with her for the next day to discuss our individual projects. I talked to
Dr. Graham and decided to leave at four instead of five because I was feeling ill. 1-24-20
1-24-20 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Friday was our first professional development meeting. It
was not was I was expecting, but it was nice because it helped me feel more comfortable
with the rest of the staff. Near the end of the day I met with Dr. Graham about my
project. We decided that I would work on organizing and cataloging past Clothesline
Project shirts. This is a big task that was originally planned to be split between multiple
people, so it will take a lot of effort. She was excited because this is an important project
